BREAKFAST CLUB
Leyburn Primary School’s Breakfast Club opens at 7.30 am each morning and provides quality childcare for children from Nursery to Year 6 and operated by our own staff. We provide a nutritious breakfast and prepare your child for the school day.
In addition, we are proud to be an early adopter school offering a completely free Breakfast Club from 8:30am every morning. There is no cost to families, ensuring that all children have access to a healthy and nutritious breakfast and a positive start to the school day. The club provides a safe, welcoming environment where pupils can enjoy breakfast, spend time with friends, and settle into their morning routine before lessons begin. By removing barriers and making this provision available to everyone free of charge, we are supporting children's wellbeing, readiness to learn and our commitment to helping every pupil thrive.

Food provided: A selection of healthy cereals with semi-skimmed milk, brown and white toast with various toppings alongside eggs, yoghurt and additional options.
Friday special menu: The children enjoy and look forward to our Friday special menu which offers warm waffles, pancakes and hot chocolate alongside our usual offerings.
Activities: After breakfast, children enjoy a variety of activities such as games, colouring, crafts and Lego. They also can play outside on the playground.
Nursery and Reception children are accompanied to class by an adult.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Our After School Club provides a quality childcare facility for children from Nursery to Year 6. See below cost and times.

We provide a drink and a healthy snack when the children arrive at 3.30 pm. All children will be encouraged to join in a choice of activities including board games, arts and crafts and outdoor play.
Information
Booking and payment are via ParentPay and required 24hours in advance. If children attend and are not booked in, there will be an admin fee applied. There will be additional charges for late collections.
